Dress for the weather

The children go outside for recess daily, please remember to dress them for the weather!

Gingerbread Men

We are enjoying the gingerbread men that everyone has made!  If you haven't brought yours in yet, it's not too late!  Send it in soon!

Planetarium Trip

We will be visiting the planetarium in November.......you can explore stars and space at home to help prepare your child for the trip!

Reading Night

Please come to Welch on

November 15 for a Family Reading Night from 6:00-7:00pm.

Read stories with your families, listen to Welch teachers perform a Readers Theater, learn how to check out Ebooks, and visit with storyteller Celeste Giles from Naperville Public Library. Apply for a Naperville Public library card! Naperville residents must bring a Photo ID and one form of identification with address.

Jolly Phonics

Please practice your jolly phonics sounds at home and look for the sounds in print!  We are almost done with all of the sounds!

PARENT CONFERENCES

Conferences are in NOvember on the 5,6, and 8.  Please make sure you have a scheduled time with your teacher!
